AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH ANALYST

Ivan Thompson (M.S, B.S) is an Agricultural Research Analyst at HowGood, where he researches agronomic and environmental attributes of location-specific crops, analyzes labor risks in global commodity chains, and creates models of cropping and livestock systems to estimate greenhouse gas emissions.Ivan brings a deep knowledge of U.S. agricultural practices and policies from his public service experience with the U.S. Department of Agriculture including with the Farm Service Agency and the Foreign Agricultural Service.Ivan holds a Master of Science in Agriculture, Food, and Environment from the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences from Florida A&M University.
