The Current State of Retail

The decisions retailers make – including which products they put on shelf, how they design and position their own brands, and what their sourcing policies and standards require – may be the most powerful force in the food system. At the same time, retail is a tight-margins, price-conscious industry that’s ultimately responsible for making healthy food accessible to their customers.

Sustainability & Innovation in Retail

In the midst of growing global disruption – resurgent pandemic, war and conflict, intensifying climate change – and accelerated regulatory pressures (from the EU and SEC), retailers must innovate with their ecosystems to feed people and have a net-positive impact on health, society, and the planet.

HowGood and the New Hope Network invite industry leaders to tackle these issues in their own company in the context of a curated bias for action, peer-to-peer learning environment. Instead of another series of “webinars” and endless multi-stakeholder dialogues, you will bring real business situations to each session and work creatively with peers to unlock unique-to-your company solutions.

Rebecca Hesketh Waitrose & Partners

I feel that this working group has really helped to open my eyes to what it means to be truly regenerative and helped to give me confidence to challenge the status quo. It has been great to be part of this forum and learn from so many amazing people in this industry whilst accessing the HowGood team’s valuable guidance.
